Ao Kiriyama is a closeted otaku who likes robot toys, including Zoids, and has secretly dreamed of making toys that many people can enjoy and get addicted to since he was a child. However, he was not accepted into the company he wanted to work for, so he gave up and started working at a company that was not a toy manufacturer. After that, unable to give up on his dream and not being able to fit in with the atmosphere at the company, he made up his mind and changed jobs to his current toy manufacturer. However, although he originally wanted to apply to the planning and development department, he was shy and was unable to appeal to the public, so he ended up being assigned to the general affairs department. At the new workplace, he is reunited with his childhood friend, Matoi Takarabe, whom he once loved like a little sister. To cheer up the depressed Ao, Matoi introduces him to a VR game called "Metamorphverse."
Not only can you become the person you want to be, but there will also be events with a wide variety of game elements. Using special VR equipment, players' thoughts can be converted into digital data and read, allowing for an unprecedented immersive experience.
